Books made into movies

Okay, we all know about this one …

And I for one can’t wait. What are other Young Adult books you’d like to see made into movies? Other than my own (Ha ha. Okay, sorry, I had to. ) I’d love to see the following awesome titles made into movies. What do you think of my choices? What about you? What’s your pick?

Crux definitely needs to be made into a movie! That would so totally rock the universe!!!

I, too, can’t wait for Hunger Games and I would love to see the entire Iron King/Queen/Knight series made into a movie. The Daughter of Smoke and Bone would be on my list, too, as would The Scorpio Races.

    Great question!!!

I’m a Shiver and Divergent fan too : ) They get my vote!

I’m really looking forward to the Hunger Games. The trailer just looks incredible. TMI also has me very excited. And of course it would be awesome if Crux made it to the big screen. We’ll have to keep our fingers crossed. 🙂

I’m trying to keep my expectations resonable, so I don’t have any let down on the Hunger Games film … but it’s really hard. I sooo loved that book!

The trailer for the ‘Hunger Games’ movie definitely whetted my appetite so yes, looking forward to seeing that. ‘Shiver’ gets my vote too and I’d love to see ‘The Vampire Academy’ series come to life although I’m willing to bet that whatever actor they get to fill the role of Dimitri doesn’t come close to what my imagination’s conjured up!

I totally agree with you. Casting is the one thing I tend to get my panties in a bunch about. That is, until I get used to the actor in that role. If they do a good job, I might tend to see that person as the character in the book. The hero can be so hot from what I conjure in my head. It’s hard to beat a good imagination, you know what I mean? 🙂
